Is a patent registration guaranteed and can I get a refund of money paid if it is denied?
It’s not guaranteed. You should be counseled early on on the difficulty of getting a patent and the options to get a patent as opposed to other ways to protect your idea. But the patent office makes the final decision. While the patent attorney and the patent office work together, they issue patents, not everything that’s applied for is issued a patent and there is no money-back guarantee.
